What is AI SDR?
An AI SDR (AI sales development representative) is an AI agent that does the early-stage sales work of an SDR: contacting leads, qualifying them and booking meetings for the sales team.
AI SDRs can work by phone, email or chat. Voice AI SDRs call leads and book meetings; human salespeople then run the meetings and close.
The main differences from a human SDR are speed (seconds instead of hours), availability (any hour) and cost per booked meeting.
